The team from Business Events Geelong along with representatives from Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong, Higher Mark, Novotel Geelong and Rydges Geelong recently returned from the 2024 Associations Forum National Conference.
Held at the National Convention Centre Canberra between 30 April and 1 May, the team showcased Geelong and The Bellarine to over 400 delegates and promoted the region as a premier destination for business events, featuring our superior range of venues, accommodation, services and experiences for conferences, conventions, meetings and exhibitions.
Over the course of the two-day conference, it gave the team a chance to re-connect with and build new relationships with association executives, charities and the not-for-profit sectors.
And in efforts to engage attendees and facilitate further networking opportunities at the Meet Geelong stand, the team once again featured the popular claw machine. Delegates eagerly participated, exchanging their contact details for a chance to win prizes from our regional partners. It was a huge hit, injecting an extra dose of excitement into the bustling atmosphere of the trade show.
Together, Geelong and The Bellarine was at the forefront of the two-day event, providing immense opportunities to source new business to our region.
