Tourism Greater Geelong and The Bellarine (TGGB) is inviting you to help shape the future of agritourism across Geelong and the Bellarine.
We’re pleased to share the Draft Agritourism Road Map 2026–2029, a working document developed to provide a shared direction for how agritourism can grow sustainably across our region.
Importantly, this is not a final strategy—it’s a draft designed to start a conversation, and we’re keen to hear your views.
How the draft Road Map came about
The draft has been developed by listening closely to the voice of local industry. It draws primarily on insights and discussions from the TGGB Agritourism Roundtable workshop held in November 2025 and as it evolves will continue to focus on the perspectives of producers, operators, councils and industry partners.
What emerged from the roundtable workshop was a strong desire for a practical, flexible roadmap that recognises the diversity of agritourism businesses, supports different stages of readiness, and helps guide future collaboration, advocacy and investment—without prescribing a one-size-fits-all approach.
Why your input matters
Your feedback will help ensure the final Road Map:
- Reflects real-world challenges and opportunities
- Is relevant and makes sense for producers and agritourism businesses at different stages of development
- Identifies the right priorities and actions for our region
- Genuinely supports sustainable growth across the sector
Whether you’re already operating an agritourism experience, considering one, or supporting the sector in another way, your perspective is valuable.
How to get involved
You can participate in the consultation by:
- Review the Draft Agritourism Road Map (view the presentation and download the draft Road Map PDF)
- Providing feedback via a short online survey here
- Email feedback to Jarred Parsons via jarred.parsons@tourismgeelongbellarine.com.au
The survey is designed to guide you through the document to comment on the directions, the proposed framework and initiatives and and there’s an open-ended section for any other thoughts.
Feedback is open until 22 May 2026.
What happens next
All feedback will be carefully reviewed and we will refine the Road Map before it is finalised and shared later this year. If you have any questions or would prefer to share feedback in another way, please feel free to contact Jarred directly via the email above.
Thank you for helping shape the future of agritourism in our region—we really appreciate your time and insights.
